2. FIFA Elo ratings — adjusted for recent results, home advantage, and tournament context.

3. Injury-adjusted squad xG — confirmed injured players removed; xG recalculated on remaining squad. When a team is missing two or more top-10 players, we downgrade confidence by one tier.

4. Betting market implied probability — markets cross-check used to catch where our model diverges significantly from aggregate trader consensus.

5. Head-to-head record — weighted for recency (last 5 years: 70%, older: 30%).

6. Defensive PPDA adjustment (added Matchday 4) — teams with PPDA below 9.5 defending deep get +15% draw probability added regardless of ranking gap. This corrects for our MD3 misses on Switzerland-Qatar and Brazil-Morocco, where compact defending sides held far longer than Elo predicted.

7. Draw probability threshold (added Matchday 4) — for any match below 70% confidence, we now calculate draw probability explicitly. If draw probability exceeds 30%, we call the result as "Win or Draw" rather than forcing a winner prediction.
