Who writes this site
abhs.in is written and edited by Abhishek Gautam, a full-stack software engineer employed at AdsRole. All articles are written from a developer and infrastructure perspective, with the goal of explaining real-world tech and geopolitical events to a technical audience.
No content on this site is written by anonymous authors. Every post reflects original research, analysis, and editorial judgment by a named author with verifiable professional experience in software engineering.
How we select topics
We cover events at the intersection of technology, infrastructure, and geopolitics that have direct relevance to developers, engineers, and technical decision-makers. Topics are selected based on:
- Verified news with primary sources (official announcements, regulatory filings, court documents, or reporting from established outlets)
- Developer and infrastructure impact — we prioritise events that affect how software is built, deployed, or priced
- Specificity — we do not publish generic opinion pieces or evergreen guides without a concrete news hook
We do not publish sponsored editorial content. Advertisements (where present) are clearly separated from editorial content.
Research and sourcing standards
Every article is based on at least one of the following:
- Official press releases, earnings calls, or regulatory filings
- Reporting from established news organisations (Reuters, Bloomberg, CNBC, Financial Times, The Verge, Ars Technica, TechCrunch)
- Primary technical documentation (API docs, benchmark papers, academic research)
- Official government or institutional statements
We do not publish rumours without labelling them as unconfirmed. When a story is developing, we note that explicitly in the article. Benchmark data is attributed to the original research paper or test suite.
Accuracy and corrections
We are committed to factual accuracy. If we publish an error, we correct it promptly and note the correction at the top of the affected article with a date and description of what changed.
To report an error, contact us at gautamabhishek188@gmail.com with the article URL and the specific claim you believe is incorrect. We review all correction requests.
Independence and conflicts of interest
abhs.in is editorially independent. Coverage decisions are not influenced by advertisers, affiliate relationships, or commercial partnerships. We disclose the following relationships that readers should be aware of:
- The site footer contains a DigitalOcean referral link (marked with rel="sponsored"). This does not influence our coverage of DigitalOcean or competing cloud providers.
- We use affiliate-free links by default. Any affiliate relationship is disclosed in the relevant article.
Use of AI tools
AI writing tools may be used as research assistants to identify sources and structure drafts. All final content is reviewed, edited, and verified by the human author before publication. We do not publish AI-generated content without human review and editorial judgment applied to every claim, number, and conclusion.
Geopolitics and sensitive topics
Some content covers geopolitical events including armed conflicts, sanctions, and cyberattacks. Our coverage of these topics is strictly from a technology, infrastructure, and developer-impact perspective. We do not take political positions, endorse governments or military actions, or produce content intended to exploit or sensationalise conflict. The goal is to help technical readers understand how global events affect the systems they build and depend on.
